Terms of Service
Effective date: March 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using PubQ (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
PubQ is a scheduling tool that lets you write and schedule Substack Notes in advance. It publishes Notes on your behalf by using the authenticated session cookie you provide via the PubQ browser extension. PubQ is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Substack.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account.
- Keep your account credentials and browser extension session secure.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only to publish content you have the right to publish.
- Comply with Substack's own terms of service regarding the content you publish through PubQ.
- Not use the Service to send spam, harass others, or engage in any deceptive or harmful activity.
4. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms or are using the Service in a manner that could harm PubQ, other users, or third parties. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@pubq.io.
5. Payments and refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that published Notes will reach Substack successfully at all times. Substack may change their platform or API at any time, which may temporarily or permanently affect PubQ's functionality.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PubQ and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to missed publication times, loss of followers, or content not published as scheduled.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
